About Herban Renewal

Herban Renewal Garden & Nursery has recently relocated from Seattle to Sequim Washington in the rain shadow of the spectacular Olympic mountains.

Founded by Janice Pelz year in 1986, on a small city lot in Seattle, where she specialized in organic herbs both culinary and medicinal, the business became a popular resource for plant collectors looking for new ways to use perennials and herbs. Janice continues to provide classes and lectures on a variety of horticultural subjects from medicinal herbs to vermiculture.

Her new location offers over 3 acres of growing fields where there is room to expand production of Lavender, Chinese Medicinal Herbs and create new display gardens.
